November Schedule

The November schedule will continue to focus on conditioning and skill building. All practice sessions will take place at the east sixth street track. Some runners will prepare for the NYRRC Youth Cross Country Invitational. General training will continue to help develop overall physical capacity and fitness. This will continue to include basic running, strength building, and exercises used to develop muscular power and to improve overall speed. Coaches John Wiltshire and Lydia Vanderloo will be participating in the New York City Marathon.

October Schedule

The October schedule will focus on conditioning and skill building. All practice sessions will take place at the east sixth street track. Some runners will prepare for two events, the NYRRC Grete’s Great Gallop a 1.7 mile race on October 14th in Central Park and the Youth Jamboree on October 21st. The Youth Jamboree will take place at the New Balance Track & Field Center at the Armory and will feature a variety of track and field events for Grades Pre-K thru 5 beginning at 8:00 a.m and Grades 6 and older starting at 12:00 noon.
